Hood with integrated headlamp

We developed the electronics for a headlamp integrated in a hood and a headband for Facts & Change. The special challenges involved with this product were to create a system featuring especially low weight, high lighting power, and easy operation. An additional challenge was to produce a high-quality product with especially low costs. To make it possible to wash the hood, the electronics may be removed from the hood with just a few actions.

Thanks to the ultra-light and ergonomic design and seamless integration of the system, LUMA Active provides exceptional wearing comfort. Easy operation enables the user to focus completely on their current outdoor activities. The system also guarantees maximum safety as a front or rear-mounted reflector. In addition to this, different light modes may be used for close-up and long-distance situations and to increase awareness even more.
