As an international technology pioneer in the area of machine and plant engineering, ANDRITZ is a leading partner for companies in the area of technology and service. Over the course of development of refinery plant, MEDS was employed with hardware development, including layout of a sensor system. The hardware developed by MEDS included design of the circuit board using FPGA and PCI interfaces. The design was developed to be expandable so that both digital and analogue I/Os may be added in the future. The sample rate of system, which features a sensor frequency of 200 MHz, is particularly worth mentioning.
