piCHEM, located in Raaba-Grambach, Austria, has been active in the area of research and development of new medicines based on synthetic peptides for over 25 years. To synthesise customer-specific peptides, MEDS was employed with the development of an automated synthesising robot. The semi-automated production in the stirring reactor is completed according to LabView scripts, which follow defined sequences. One typical application area of this synthetic peptide ingredient is diagnosis and therapy neuroendocrine cancers.
